Vegetable and Mushroom Seasoning Packs: Brief the Product Before the Print

A seasoning pack brief should state product form, dose, filling route and label space before artwork is approved.

Kaida Group shows packaging for vegetable and mushroom seasoning. The name describes a category, but it does not tell a packaging team whether the contents are a fine powder, granules or a mixed product. That detail should come before a decision about bag size or printed design.

Define the product and dose

State the physical form, target pack weight and how the seasoning is used. A one-recipe sachet, a retail refill and a food-service pack will have different opening and handling needs. If the formulation includes visible pieces or changes across flavors, provide a sample of the version used for the first trial.

Tell the supplier whether customers pour the whole pack at once or dispense it over several uses. This determines whether the first opening, a reclosure or a narrow pouring path matters most.

Map the filling route

Identify the filling machine, dosing method, fill direction and target output, if known. Note where powder or particles may collect near the seal. Ask for a trial with the real product on the intended line, because an empty bag does not show how accurately it fills or how clean the closing area remains.

Provide the acceptable filled size and carton arrangement. A bag that fits the equipment still needs to pack efficiently and display as intended.

Plan the label before the bag dimensions

List every destination market and the information that market requires. Reserve space for the product name, flavor, net weight, ingredients, preparation directions, barcode and traceability details supplied by your own team. Then place the logo and visual story around those fixed areas.

When several flavors share one pack format, set a consistent information grid. It makes the range easier to review and reduces the risk of artwork moving into a seal or fold.

The first discussion

Send the seasoning sample, dose, filling setup, storage and sales route, proposed opening, filled dimensions and draft label. Ask for a size and artwork layout that your operations and regulatory teams can review together. Kaida Group's contact page is the starting point for the project brief.
