Packaging Sample Shipments: Send the Test Context with the Parcel

Make the parcel recognizable

A sample shipment should reach the right reviewer with enough context to start the planned test. For a Kaida packaging project, send a small sample inventory before the parcel travels. Identify whether it contains appearance references, unprinted film, converted pouches or filled trial packs. A box marked only samples can sit untouched while teams try to determine who requested it.

Prepare an itemized sample map

Give each sample a code tied to material, artwork and production or trial version. State its quantity and intended evaluation. Include the current drawing and a short list of questions to answer. Identify any sample that is provisional or unsuitable for consumer distribution so a technical prototype cannot be mistaken for approved sale stock.

Coordinate shipping information

Confirm the recipient, receiving hours and contact responsible for the review. Provide accurate contents and documentation requested by the shipper and destination process; let the responsible shipping specialists determine applicable requirements. Do not invent a declared description to make a parcel appear simpler. Where samples need particular handling, agree and label those instructions before dispatch.

Check arrival before testing

Ask the receiver to reconcile the inventory and record visible transit damage. Photograph the parcel and affected items before discarding the packaging. If a pouch arrives folded or a film roll is damaged, note that condition in the test record. It may change what the subsequent observation can say about the original sample.

Return a usable response

Agree the feedback owner and the expected test output in advance. Send Kaida sample codes, observations and the next decision, including any items not tested. The shipment then becomes one traceable project step, with a clear connection between what was sent and what the buyer learned.
