A limited promotion can add a sleeve or label to an otherwise unchanged snack pouch. Kaida lists snack packaging among its applications. The buyer should treat that extra component as a versioned part of the pack, because it may cover required text, change barcode visibility or confuse the packing line when an offer ends.

## Define the inputs

Create a promotion matrix with base pouch SKU, added component, start and end dates, market and case label. Mark exactly where the sleeve or label sits on a filled sample. Have the brand and product teams check all underlying and added copy. An attractive mock-up is not enough if a variant's ingredient or use information is hidden.

## Test the proposed pack

Run a packing trial with the actual component. Check application position, legibility, scan performance and behavior after case handling. Test the last batch of the previous promotion and the first batch of the new one to see how leftover packaging is cleared. Retain examples tied to the pouch, component and production-lot codes.

## Resolve the design question

Decide how the line and warehouse will prevent mixing promoted and standard stock. The control may be a distinct order code, separated materials or a documented first-unit check. Record who authorizes any extension of the promotion and what happens to unused printed material. These decisions belong in the same release package as the artwork.

## Release the decision

Approve a filled promoted reference and a withdrawal plan. That lets the supplier print the right component, the filler apply it to the right pack and the distributor distinguish it from ordinary stock.

Assign one owner for leftover promotional components. Uncontrolled surplus can reappear on a line long after the promotion has ended.
