## Name the manufacturing route

A supplier group may offer several manufacturing capabilities, but a specific pouch order still follows a particular route. Kaida’s company overview describes its group operations and production bases. If a buyer’s project is proposed for another site or line, document that change explicitly. A familiar supplier name does not describe which printing, lamination and conversion steps will make the new order.

## Map what will move

List the legal entity, manufacturing address, process steps and any subcontracted work relevant to the pack. Compare the proposed route with the approved one. Include artwork assets, tooling, materials, test methods and the team responsible for final release. Mark elements that remain identical and elements requiring fresh evidence, so the review does not become an unfocused factory questionnaire.

## Set the transfer evidence

Have quality and production owners define the samples, records and line checks needed for the transfer. Use the current approved pack as the reference and label transfer samples with their new route. If the package enters a regulated application, let the buyer’s qualified team determine the required approval pathway before interpreting a successful trial as permission to supply.

## Keep orders distinguishable

Give the first transferred lot an identifiable order reference and retain its test records. Ask receiving to confirm the source and configuration, not merely the product title. If old and new sites supply during an overlap period, preserve their separate lot histories and avoid pooling samples when investigating a difference.

## Release the named route

Approve the transfer with a written scope: package version, product, site and process covered. Bring Kaida the open questions and acceptance owners early. Future purchasing can then use the intended route, and another transfer triggers a specific review instead of passing unnoticed within a repeat order.
