A household refill succeeds when a customer can move the product into the bottle they already own. Kaida lists household packaging among its applications. The buyer should test the pouch with the actual bottle opening and product flow, because a neat pour on a bench may still create drips at a narrow neck or a bottle held at an angle.

## Define the inputs

Specify the refill product, fill amount, expected bottle types and the way the pouch will be opened. Decide whether the user will pour once or pause and reclose. Include the package's own safe-use instructions and any market-specific copy. The fit between the pouch opening and the receiving bottle is a physical question that artwork alone cannot answer.

## Test the proposed pack

Fill trial pouches and let users refill the target bottle without coaching. Observe where they grip, how the pouch collapses and where residue remains. Repeat with bottles at different fill levels if that changes the task. Record spillage and user comments with sample IDs, then have the packaging and product teams review the same evidence.

## Resolve the design question

If the refill is messy, compare opening location, pouch body and any spout or fitment as separate variables. Check each candidate on the filling line and through normal transport handling. A feature that improves pouring should not create an unexamined leak or carton-fit issue. Keep the product formulation and bottle reference constant during comparison.

## Release the decision

Approve the refill system with a filled pouch, receiving bottle and written use test. This gives the supplier a concrete target and gives customer service a clear explanation of how the package is intended to work.

Include a wipe-down observation in the use test if drips are likely. It can show whether the opening geometry creates a cleaning task for the consumer.
