The seal of a frozen-food bag is challenged long after it leaves the filler. Kaida lists frozen food packaging among its applications. A buyer should ask how the filled bag moves in its retail case, what rubs against its sealed edges, and how the pack is opened after cold storage. This is a different question from checking only an empty seal sample.

## Define the inputs

Document the product pieces, fill level, bag orientation and case count. Mark where the bag is likely to bend or press against a neighboring unit. If product fragments can reach the sealing area, include that condition in the line trial. The carton drawing and pouch drawing belong in the same review because a tight case can create a repeated stress point.

## Test the proposed pack

Pack a small trial case with production-like filled bags and put it through the planned handling route. Inspect top, side and bottom seals before and after the route, and record locations of scuffs or leaks. Use labelled samples from different case positions. A top-layer bag may experience a different contact pattern from one in the bottom corner.

## Resolve the design question

Ask the filler to record actual seal settings and observations where product enters the seal. If a defect appears after handling, distinguish a contaminated seal from abrasion or a sharp product edge. Each cause calls for a different design or process response. Repeat the relevant part of the trial after one change so the team can see whether it helped.

## Release the decision

Approve the pack with its case configuration and a practical inspection plan. Retain examples of acceptable and unacceptable edge conditions. This gives receiving teams a common standard and prevents a new carton count from quietly changing the pouch's handling environment.
