Kaida Group lists a [three-side-seal bag for dried meat](https://www.kaidapackaging.com/Custom-Size-Three-Sides-Heat-Sealed-Plastic-Food-Packaging-Bag-for-Dried-Meat-pd514609348.html?ref=kaidapackaging.ghost.io). The product may be strips, slices or pieces, and that physical form matters when specifying a flat bag. A clear brief combines the portion, the packed thickness, the first opening and the shelf message.

## Measure the real portion

Record the target net weight, largest piece dimensions and how the product is placed in the pack. Does it lie flat, overlap or bunch near one end? Fill a rough mock-up with a representative portion and measure its thickness. A flat outline without product inside may underestimate the space required.

Include any inner tray, backing card or other item that will be inserted. State how many finished bags fit in a display case or carton and whether they will be hung or laid flat in store.

## Set the opening path

Decide whether the customer should tear from a corner, across the top or along another marked edge. Test the opening with the product inside so the tear does not run into a piece or leave too little room to remove it. If the bag is intended for several eating occasions, describe how the remaining product will be stored.

Explain the filling and closing sequence. If product oils or small pieces may reach a seal area, include that in the line review. Ask for a trial using the actual product rather than an empty bag.

## Lay out the retail information

Set aside space for the product name, flavor, net contents, ingredients, nutrition information, barcode and market-required text from your team. Decide whether a product window or printed image better supports the intended display. Verify the text on an actual-size filled sample.

Provide product samples, portion, filled dimensions, opening preference, sales channel and artwork outline to [Kaida Group](https://www.kaidapackaging.com/contactus.html?ref=kaidapackaging.ghost.io). Review the bag in the same orientation it will meet the shopper.
