## Reserve stock for the test itself

Some packaging checks consume or alter the specimen. When arranging testing for a Kaida project, identify those samples before the material is issued. A unit used for a destructive check should not return to ordinary production stock, and the team needs a clear count of what remains available for other planned decisions.

## Assign samples by purpose

Create a sample list showing lot, quantity, test destination and intended use. Distinguish destructive specimens, retained references and samples that may be used for visual review. Ask the testing owner to confirm the necessary quantity and preparation requirements for the agreed method. Avoid assigning the same physical units to several incompatible tests simply because each department requested only a small sample.

## Control the return route

When samples leave the warehouse or line, record who took them and where they went. Mark altered specimens clearly if they are retained for investigation. Keep tested product and packaging out of usable stock according to the site’s own disposition process. If a laboratory returns fragments or opened packs, attach the test reference so those materials remain evidence rather than anonymous pieces on a workbench.

## Close quantities with the report

Reconcile samples received, tested, retained and disposed of when the work ends. Record any test not completed because the available quantity or specimen condition was insufficient. Share the resulting evidence and open questions with Kaida when a packaging decision depends on them. This gives the project a reliable sample history and prevents an apparently complete test request from concealing missing evidence or unaccounted material.
