A cosmetic refill pouch should be judged at the end of use as well as the first pour. Kaida presents cosmetic packaging among its application categories. Product that remains trapped near a fold or spout affects how a consumer experiences the refill. The buyer can study this with the real formulation and the container the consumer is expected to refill.

## Define the inputs

Specify the formulation, fill amount, refill container neck and expected way of holding the pouch. Note if the consumer will squeeze, fold or rest the pouch while pouring. Design a prototype opening that can be used without exposing too much product to the outside of the pack. The package shape and opening are linked to how much product remains after ordinary use.

## Test the proposed pack

Run a simple use study with filled production-like samples. Weigh or otherwise document the amount left after a normal refill, and observe where residue collects. Ask testers to follow the intended instructions without extra guidance. The result can show whether the proposed corner, spout or pouch base makes the final portion hard to remove.

## Resolve the design question

Bring these observations to the filler as well. A large opening may improve emptying but complicate closure or filling; a shaped cut may help pouring but alter production yield. Compare alternatives using the same formula, fill and test method. Keep sample versions clearly separated so a preference is tied to a specific construction.

## Release the decision

The final brief should state the refill vessel, opening, pour behavior and acceptable residue measure chosen by the buyer. Attach the filled reference and artwork instructions. This gives design, product and procurement teams one concrete basis for approving the next run.
